About 3/4 mile turn left on dirt road
The Pit is about 1/4 mile up the hill

You need a CALIFORNIA FIRE PERMIT.
Fire permits available for free at the Ranger Station
Shovel and water required when dispersed camping.

DIRECTIONS:
From Bishop take Hwy.395 north
About 7 miles turn east on Pleasant Valley Rd.
About a mile turn left on dirt road up the hill
RV Pit is about 1/4 mile

ROAD CONDITIONS:
Pleasant Valley Road is a paved surface.
The road to PV Pit is rough dirt surface

Showers at Reds Meadow Campground.
Showers located in Big Pine.
Buy token at the Mobil Gas Station.
Cost $3.50 for 10 minutes.
