The actual campground is nice, but average. The best part is being close to the dramatic scenery of Zion National Park. Lava Point Views There is a nice view point near the campground. Zion Canyon DIRECTIONS: Kolob Terrace Road Turn right on Lava Point Road. Lava Point Road is unmarked and there are no signs. It is a dirt road with fences on both sides. PHOTO HERE Road to Lava Point Campground ROAD CONDITIONS: Kolob Terrace Road is paved Lava Point Road to the campground is narrow dirt road. RVs are possible, but would be recommended to camp at Kolob Reservoir. KOLOB RESERVOIR If Lava Point Campground is full, you can continue up the road and there are more campgrounds at Kolob Reservoir. MESA ROAD Primitive dispersed camping...
