Painted Rock Campground
Painted Rock Campground has picnic tables,
metal firerings and outhouse. Campground is
next to the Painted Rock Petroglyphs. Rough
desert conditions, bring your own water.
Old Adobe Structure
North from Painted Rock
The maps show the road to Hyder is south
of the Petroglyphs. It is actually north from
the Petroglyphs. Continue on the paved surface
about another 1/2 mile. When the pavement
ends, you will see the above Adobe Structure.

Rocky Point Road and Hyder Road. Usually
we camp on Saddle Road. Saddle Road follows
the railroad tracks and power lines, with more
secluded areas and pullouts. ..
