SISKIYOU NATIONAL FOREST

FS Road #3348 has several good campgrounds,
including a couple private sites. Keep going
towards Powers on FS Road #33 and there are
a couple more campgrounds and camping areas.

Squaw Lake

Squaw Lake (near mile 4)
Very romantic. An established campground
with picnic tables, metal firerings, and outhouse.
It is an easy 1 mile drive from the paved road.

At the junction of #3348 and #3358 (near mile 5)
Just the other side of the bridge is a great little
campsite with a grassy area, metal firering and
your private outhouse. The creek flows just a 100'
away, with a staircase leading to the water's
edge is carved in the steep bank.

Buck Creek Campground (near mile 9)
Established campground, with picnic tables,
firerings and outhouse.

Wooden Rock Camp (at mile 12)
Small established campsite.
This is our favorite.

Eden Valley Campground (before mile 15)
Established campground with about a dozen sites.
It is a nice area and the people are friendly.

ROAD #33
Between the Junction of #3348 and Powers
are a couple campgrounds. Some charge fees
during the summer season.

China Flat Recreation Area (near mile 52)
Free camping area.
