Someone
told us that you can camp anywhere on National Forests, so we did.
Unless there are signs that specifically say otherwise, and as long as
you stay on established roads, just find a good spot and set-up your
camp. Follow the same regulations as below, and leave no trace.
BLM REGULATIONS:
You are welcome to camp almost anywhere on public lands. Certain
restrictions may apply, so check with the local BLM office.
• Pack out all you bring in, including your trash and cigarette butts.
• Use only down and dead wood for campfires, unless otherwise
restricted.
• Use existing fire rings when possible.
• Bury human waste 6 inches deep and 200 feet from camp, trails,
streams, or washes.
• Avoid camping in undisturbed areas.
