and Sea Monster (Winged Disk Records,
P.O.Box 53, Nesconset, NY 11767) More throbbing, often
eerie, rock and roll from Sea Monster. Bikers, late night B movies,
drugs and alcohol, satan, punk, cheap equipment, rockabilly, tattoos,
the Cramps, vugarity, dark sunglasses, and the Big Rotten Apple is what
this band ekes. Around since 1987, they haven't exactly flooded the
market with releases, but when they do get around to recording, it
sounds good and offers a fair representation of what their scene
breathes: New York City after midnight. - John L.
