Campsites about 10 1/2 miles
Narrow Mountain Road
Steep Downhill Grade with 1000' Drops
Not Recommended for RVs
Avoid in Bad Weather Conditions
This road is haunted and should be traveled
with caution. You will never forget this road.

From Camp Verde, AZ
I-17 / Exit #287
Take Hwy.260 East for 10 miles
(Hwy.260 between milepost 228-229)
Turn on Fossil Creek Road
Tonto NF Boundary about 15.5 miles
The road is more accessible from this direction
Rough areas need good shock absorbers.
