Imperial Sand Dunes
Imperial Sand Dunes

Glamis is the "CENTER OF THE WORLD",
so the sign claims... and why not, the center
has to be somewhere.

Highway 78 between Glamis and Palo Verde is
mostly public lands. There is a road that follows
along the edge of Imperial Sand Dunes with
good camping. It is hot, dry and dusty... your
in the desert. Bring your own water.

Firerings have been built throughout the desert.
The roads are rough and don't be surprised if
there is loose sand.
